Mindfulness is a hot buzz word these days both within counseling and outside of counseling. Mindfulness is often understood to be a breathing technique, yoga position, or simply a way to think. However, it is much more than a technique and is a theoretical approach that can be highly effective for treatment outcomes across all spectrums of problems and disorders. From understanding problem formation to approaching problem solution, this presentation will provide content and tools on how to practice with a mindfulness lens and approach.
