Helena Stevens, PhD, LPC, LSC, PPS
A question I often hear in supervision is: how do I motivate my adolescent client? The answer I usually provide is you don't, they need to motivate themselves. This presentation will provide an overview of DBT, information on how to use mindfulness to increase resilience and self-motivation, as well as information related to development theory to understand what is going on with adolescents comprehensively.
